Terms of use
Last updated: [Date]
Draft for review. Text in [square brackets] must be completed, and a Nigerian lawyer should review this page before launch.
These terms cover this website and the Lorapay waitlist, provided by [Company Name] Limited (RC [RC number]). Using the Lorapay app will be covered by separate terms when it launches.
Lorapay is not open yet
This website describes a service that is still being built. It does not offer payment, banking or any other financial service, and nothing on it is financial advice. Features, limits and launch dates may change before launch. [When live: state the licensed partner that provides the payment services.]
The waitlist
- Joining is free and doesn't oblige you to use Lorapay.
- Joining doesn't guarantee access on any date, or at all. We may open by state, in stages, or by invitation.
- Please give your own, accurate details. You must be 18 or older.
- You can leave at any time by emailing privacy@lorapay.io.
How we handle your details is explained in our privacy policy.
Using this website
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, no automated sign-ups, and no false or other people's details.
Security research is welcome under the rules on our security page.
Our content
The Lorapay name, logo, designs and text on this site belong to [Company Name] Limited. You may share links to the site, but please don't copy our branding or present yourself as Lorapay.
Liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Nigerian law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of [Lagos State] have jurisdiction.
